Hi everyone,
Today you're going to talk about a subject you enjoyed studying this semester.
A subject I enjoyed a lot in university was "Caribbean Film and Literature" I thought it was an amazing course and I learned a lot. We watched films made by Caribbean film makers and read essays, novels, and short stories by different Caribbean writers. I got very inspired by that class as many of you may have realized.
But for example, writers like Jamaica Kincaid, Christian Campbell, and Edwidge Danticat I use in many of my courses. I like these writers for different and various reasons. I like Kincaid because she writes well and always writes about controversial topics. I like Jamaica Kincaid because she always talks about anti-imperialism and anti-colonialism.

I recognized that writer, I really liked the text you let us read! That sounds like an interesting subject!

ResponderBorrarohh teacher, this subject sound really interesting... the post-colonial thinking in literature are awesome, i took a classes with claudia zapata in fyh and i love it o.o
